2. Register leads and opportunities

Register leads and opportunities easily by email, web or phone and upon receive email confirmation and an private audit log to track all your referrals.

3. Get paid for successful conversions

Sit back and relax! Any referrals that convert into paid projects for us, you receive a commission on the total revenue by that client or project.

How much commission can you earn?

To keep things simple, the amount of commission you earn is based on how much revenue (not profit) is earned during 12 months of the referral date at the following rates below.



This rate is for small projects and typically would be a once off engagement with a client.

eg. For an annual revenue of $30k, you would earn $1,500 in commission.



This is our typical rate for referrals and represents the average cost range of our projects.

eg. For an annual revenue of $100k, you would earn $8,000 in commission.



This rate is to recognise referrals that lead to larger projects or continued client relationships.

eg. For an annual revenue of $150k, you would earn $16,500 in commission.

Below are some answer to frequently asked questions we get about the referral programme but feel free to contact us if you have a question that is not covered below.

Absolutely not. The referral programme is designed to help fulfil a critical new business function that a larger business may have dedicated resources for. Payments of all referrals comes directly from Sherwood as a cost of doing business and never from a client or client’s project.

Referred work should be within the digital space and be opportunities including strategy, experience design or enablement. Please refer to the website for further details on capabilities of Sherwood.

A referral has to be a solid lead for a potential project and not just sharing a contact. Commissions are only paid on referrals that result in over $10,000 of revenue. In most instances, a referral should include the ability for an direct introduction or recommendation.

All referrals will need to be agreed between both the referring partner and Sherwood before being added to the audit log.

From a referral being agreed and added to the audit log the referral is active for a period of 12 months unless otherwise specified. During this time any work that is approved and signed off will be paid as a commission to referral partners.

The overarching referral partner agreement which allows partners to submit new opportunities and leads will be in place for 2 years as standard unless otherwise stated but can be extended where requested.

Payments are made to referral partners 14 days after the client pays their invoice. All work invoiced or signed off within 12 months window of the initial referral is included for commission paid.
